Neal & Wolf Is Truly Cruelty-Free Haircare
ALWAYS CRUELTY FREE
Neäl & Wølf are proudly and officially approved under the Leaping Bunny Programme by Cruelty Free International, the leading organisation working to end animal testing. Leaping Bunny requires brands to investigate their entire supply chain for any cases of animal testing. Approval must be given to all of a brand’s finished products and Neäl & Wølf must recommit to the
pledge annually, providing third-party audits. The Leaping Bunny approval is the best assurance that a brand is genuinely committed to removing animal testing from its supply chain.
Going Above & Beyond
Neäl & Wølf have been a Cruelty-Free brand from the beginning - their products are tested in salons, not on animals! Behind the Leaping Bunny Approval is years
of dedication to the cause. Over the past two years Neäl & Wølf have meticulously checked all 450+ of their ingredients and raw materials across all product lines The verdict? Each manufacturer, supplier, ingredient and raw materials extend over and above the laws governing animal testing, making Neäl & Wølf officially Leaping Bunny approved!

Frequently Asked Questions
What Neäl & Wølf products are approved by Cruelty Free International, Leaping Bunny Program?
All Neäl & Wølf products including their colour range are officially approved by Cruelty Free International under the Leaping Bunny Program. Isolated products can not be approved, the entire brand must be
compliant in order to be approved.
What else does Neäl & Wølf do to try and reduce their environmental impact?
Over the past two years, they have been working hard to bring you new and improved packaging made from a minimum of 30% PCR Plastic, this means that our packaging has already been recycled before we use it, helping to reduce single-use plastic.
85% of the range is suitable for vegans including their Colour range, with the remaining products expected to become vegan-friendly in 2024. All new products launched since 2018 have been vegan-friendly
What is the difference between Leaping Bunny and other Cruelty Free claims?
There are currently no legal regulations for the term "Cruelty Free". Claims such as "cruelty free" on a product may only refer to a finished product when nearly all animal testing occurs at ingredient level. While a company may claim, "We do not test on animals," it could still contract other companies to do the testing. The only way to be 100% certain a company is cruelty-free is to buy products from companies that have been certified by the Leaping Bunny Program, which requires that no new animal testing be used in any phase of product development by the company, its laboratories, or ingredient suppliers.
I purchased a Neäl & Wølf product but I don’t see the Leaping Bunny logo on the packaging, is it Leaping Bunny Approved?
Yes! Neal & Wolf are working hard behind the scenes to update product packaging and merchandise. To avoid current packaging waste, this will be added at a future date.
