It’s digital temperature control dial controls the heat offering 8 variable heat settings from 160 degrees, up to 230 degrees. It’s pulse technology feature indicates when the time is up for each curl.

Here’s some top tips for creating the perfect curls for your clients with the Hot Tools Black Gold Curl Bar.

1. Starting around 6cm from the root, hold the CurlBar™ horizontally and flat wrap the hair under the bar before winding to the ends.
2. Leave the hair to cool before combing through.
Dramatic Root Lift
1. Place the CurlBar™ horizontally at the root of the hair.
2. While holding the hair under tension, lightly push the CurlBar™ against the hair for added volume at the roots.
Glamourous Waves
1. Take a section of hair the approximate depth of the Curlbar™ and flat wrap over the bar from roots to tips for 10 seconds, ensuring each wave is parallel to the previous one.
2. Release and allow the wave to cool whilst working along the remaining sections of hair.
3. Dress the hair out using a fine-tooth comb from roots to tips. Try repeating this a few times for a deep, defined wave.
