What hair trends do you need to watch for this summer?
As a colourist and stylist, it’s essential you keep up with the ever-changing hair trends. For summer 2021, we’re looking at fringes, short bobs or long hair with a blunt cut.
Bold and brave clients are likely to be choosing mermaid tones or rainbow hair, getting back out there now lockdown is (hopefully) coming to an end!
Our creative team predict that blondes are going to be softer with #honeyhighlights. Even platinum blondes are featuring warmer and golden tones.
We’ll also be seeing contrasted brunette, caramel balayage, the money piece, copper and summer just wouldn’t be summer without those pretty pastels.
Another trend we’re seeing is clients embracing their natural tones more; after a year of no salon visits many clients have embraced their natural looks more, and are looking for ways to enhance this rather than change their colour completely.

Hair oil locks in moisture to prevent hair from drying out, which is a must for clients during the summer months (even in the UK!).
